Trust In The LordThe word anxiety means apprehension over an expected imminent upheaval, fearful concern, a subject or concern that causes worry. How many times do we let worry take over our thought life, probably way too many times. We get anxious about what might happen in the future; we worry about this and that. Instead of worrying about what might be, we should find Scripture that will help us during those “anxious moments” Daily spend time in God’s Word & in prayer – it will help you in your walk with the Lord. Cast all your anxiety on God because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer & petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts & minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6,7 Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matt. 6:34 When I am afraid, I will trust in You. Psalm 56:3 God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, & of self-discipline. 2 Tim.1:7 See also: Heb. 13:6; Joshua 1:9; Deut. 31:8; Pro. 3:24; Psalm 73:26; Psalm 29:11; Psalm 86:7; Psalm 119:165 |
